Before a blockchain can run an application, move value or enforce a rule, someone has to define exactly what it should do.
Those instructions are written in a programming language.
For the SourceLess Blockchain, that language is ARES Lang.
ARES Lang is being developed specifically for blockchain applications and smart contracts.
Because a secure network can still execute bad instructions perfectly, the language and its tools help catch mistakes before the code reaches the blockchain.
ARES Lang is designed with strong typing, memory safety, static analysis, contract optimization, zero-knowledge tools and post-quantum cryptography.
Itโs also exploring a more unusual approach: using seismic data as an additional source of entropy for randomness generation.
You may never write a line of ARES Lang yourself. But itโs worth knowing the kind of engineering behind SourceLess smart contracts and blockchain applications.
Explore ARES Lang:
One of the biggest challenges in building SourceLess over the years has been showing people the whole picture.
For a long time, they saw individual platforms and releases, but not always the scale of what was being built behind them.
Platform by platform, service by service, integration by integration, that picture is now visible.
SourceLess is a blockchain technology company working across digital identity, communication, finance, AI and infrastructure. These are parts of digital life people usually manage through separate systems. Weโre building them to work together in an environment designed around the user, with privacy and ownership built in.
This is what that looks like today:
Theyโre all live, though at different stages. Some are already in active use; others are still being tested and integrated. Together, they show the scale and direction of SourceLess.
And to everyone who has been here while that list grew: thank you.
SourceLess has grown with you, and partly because of you. Weโre in this for the long run.

Due to the change in topics for August in which the panel will discuss BIP 110 Softfork and the eCash Bitcoin hard fork, the remaining two topics that were voted on for August will be moved to the first two weeks of September and only two topics will be decided by vote for September. The two remaining topics from August are: Blockchain + AI to Solve Global Problems What role did Epstein play in Bitcoin's development and adoption?
Dear friends,
The next episode of the World Blockchain Round Table is on Thursday August 6th. The World Blockchain Round Table is for anyone and everyone. All blockchains are welcome. All perspectives are welcome. The first hour our hosts will answer questions related to this weekโs theme. Then our host will stick around for the World Blockchain After Show airing on YouTube.
The topic for episode #272:ย BIP 110 Softfork
Nominated by: iam4iam

Per a WBRTDAO vote found here WBRTians are permitted to suggest a theme change at any time. If you want to request a theme change simply make the suggestion under this post in the replies. In the event there are multiple suggestions for theme changes the highest voted reply will be chosen.
WBRT welcomes blockchain aficionados to answer questions and topics as chosen by this community, the WBRT Lair.
Please leave one related question or topic for discussion in the comments of this post for the hosts. If your comment gets discussed you will receive Lair Ownership Tokens from the WBRT Lair!
Hosts and topic contributors will receive Lair Ownership Tokens (LOT) from the WBRT Lair each week, which will be equal to the total number of views the episode gets on all platforms, over the span of 1 week, rounded to the nearest significant digit.
Hosts will split 2/3 of the total LOT. Topic contributors will split 1/6 of the total LOT. WBRT will get 1/6 of the total LOT. Additional LOT in the amount equal to what each topic contributor gets will be created for the person who suggested the weekโs theme. Also if the host ended the show within 5 minutes before or after the 1 hour allotted they too will get the same amount of LOT as the topic contributors.
It is important to note: Each LOT comes with 1) Free edits in the Lair, 2) A portion of all MTR mined in the Lair, 3) Future governance votes in the Lair.
We will only discuss the top 2-4 comments! Good luck!

Dear Dragonchain and Den.social Community,
Joe Roets, Architect and Founder of Dragonchain, will answer questions during SHDL 0x16d airing Thursday August 6th at 10 am Eastern / 1500 UTC.
For every question that is answered, the commenter will receive Lair Ownership Token (LOT) from the Dragonchain Lair!
As a reminder these LOT come with:
- Perpetual passive income via a portion of all MTR generated in the Dragonchain Lair
- Free edits in the Lair
- Governance votes in the Lair
There is no need to export these LOT to Ethereum to receive these rewards.
As a reminder some guidelines to keep in mind:
- Technical questions preferred.
- No questions will be answered about DRGN price, exchanges, NDAs, rumors.
- Rude, obnoxious, aggressive, or rhetorical questions will be noted, skipped, and not credited.
- Please keep it to one question per comment.
- Denizens and Knights are free to post multiple comments, but will only receive LOT distribution for one entry.
See you Thursday August 6th at 10 am Eastern / 1500 UTC!

We take internet for granted.
This open space with instant, global, and wireless connection.
Behind that experience thereโs centralized infrastructure: providers, servers, data centers, routing points, and cables moving information.
When one route fails, gets overloaded, or becomes restricted, access can slow down or completely stop.
A mesh network is less dependent by giving data more than one way through.
Instead of relying on one main route, nodes can connect with other nodes and pass information across multiple paths.
A node can be a dedicated device in the network. It can help relay data, store encrypted resources, support validation, and strengthen local infrastructure.
Thatโs the basic logic behind SLNN Mesh.
SLNN means SourceLess Ledger Network Nodes. It combines dedicated hardware with peer-to-peer connectivity and blockchain infrastructure, so nodes can support secure communication, decentralized hosting, encrypted storage, validation, and distributed data services.
For individuals, this gives connectivity more privacy and resilience.
For organizations, it creates infrastructure for secure data movement across connected environments like finance, IoT, energy, and healthcare.
SLNN Mesh is SourceLessโ connectivity layer for a network where devices help the network work.

Question:
Have you seen how AI companies are collecting old books, cutting the bindings, scanning the pages, and then destroying the books after they upload them into their learning sets? I understand that they can then altered the information once obtained to match their political narrative?ย
Is there a use case for Eternal.Report to archive old books and text?
27 second video on X showing the books being destroyed:

More info:
In early 2024, Anthropic bought millions of used (and some rarer) physical books in bulkโoften from wholesalers like Better World Booksโfor training data. Internal documents described it as an effort to โdestructively scan all the books in the world,โ kept quiet because they did not want the practice publicized. Vendors used a hydraulic-powered cutting machine to neatly slice off the spines/bindings, turning the books into loose pages. Those pages went through high-speed, high-quality production scanners. The physical remains were then discarded or recycled/pulped. https://www.news.com.au/technology/online/internet/ai-labs-buy-scan-shred-millions-of-rare-books/news-story/0c3b45a67093ab462a587a0348538ce9.
BIG and HUGE potential changes to the Bitcoin protocol in August. I submit we dedicate the first week of August 2026 WBRT to discuss the BIP 110 Softfork mid August and the eCash Bitcoin hard fork announced by Bitcoin OG Paul Sztorc of LayerTwo Labs.
These forks are highly critical of Bitcoin Core and are obviously very contentious.

Question: Can you explain:
1) NFTs
2) Generative AI outputs
3) Is this new wave of digital collectibles still considered human creativity despite it being machine generated?

Question:ย Why do people mint AI-generated art as NFTs instead of just sharing the image online?ย Is this possibly a viable business?

Str4tus Browser is now available in Alpha v0.1.
An alpha build is an early public version released for testing while the team continues working on features, fixes, stability, and security improvements.
Some functions may be limited or incomplete at this stage, and some parts may change in future versions.
Str4tus gives the SourceLess ecosystem its own browser interface: the first place where users can test blockchain-based identity, privacy-focused access, and the services being built around them.
NOTE: macOS users may see a security warning during installation because the app is not yet distributed through the Apple App Store. Download it only from official SourceLess channels.
Alpha v0.1 is open for testing.
Your feedback helps the team improve the next release and refine Str4tus for the SourceLess ecosystem.
